The shipyard transporter barge material transfer car is an electric power material handling flat car with lifting deck and running on the steel rails. This kind of material transfer car is used on the barge for heavy duty material transport.

The shipyard transporter material transfer cars are powered by cable drum and have four sets of wheels and eight wheels, which can meet the load-bearing requirements of 350 tons. There is one axle in the middle of each set of wheels. The purpose is to ensure that wheels can automatically adjust the contact between wheels and tracks to ensure the wheel pressure under uneven track conditions.

The electric part of this 350 tons barge transfer car is equipped with a frequency converter, which can realize the speed regulation of the shipyard transporter transfer car. For large tonnage transfer cars, the general height can not be very low (considering the problem of wheel pressure). This kind of material transfer car with lifting deck also can be powered by other power supply modes, such as low voltage tracks, battery, busbar, etc.
