10 Tons Low Voltage Rail Transfer Cart Enhances Efficient Handling on Construction Sites

Recently, a 10 tons low voltage rail powered transfer cart, specifically designed for construction industrial scenarios, has been officially put into operation. With its compact dimensions of 5000×1200×500mm, the equipment integrates a box-girder frame and insulated wheels, ensuring high load-bearing capacity while achieving efficient regional transfer of construction site workpieces, steel materials, and other supplies. It is particularly suited for medium to long distance transportation needs spanning around hundred meters.

Working Principle: The transfer cart operates on a 36V safe low voltage power supply system. It draws electricity through carbon brushes contacting conductive posts along the center of the rail, combined with the insulated wheel structure, fundamentally eliminating the risk of electric leakage and ensuring the safety of personnel and the construction environment.
Safety Features: The equipment is equipped with a ground control cabinet and audio-visual alarm lights for centralized start/stop control and operational status indication. The built-in "automatic stop upon detecting personnel" device and proximity sensors enable immediate braking when obstacles are recognized, effectively reducing human-machine interaction risks. The motor reducer and shock-absorbing buffer structure ensure smooth and precise movement during heavy load starts, stops, and travel.

Currently, this rail transfer cart has been deployed in a large-scale construction project, responsible for cross-area transportation of steel structure components and prefabricated building materials. Its flat platform design is compatible with a variety of carriers, significantly reducing manual handling costs and equipment scheduling time, providing reliable support for the standardization and continuous operation of construction logistics.
