Custom Electric Transfer Cart System with Self Drive Deck for Photovoltaic Components

Recently, a low voltage railway powered electric transfer cart system integrating "intelligent control and long distance range" has been officially put into application to meet the heavy load automated transfer needs of new energy photovoltaic module production workshops.
Leveraging its box-girder frame structure, multiple intelligent technologies, and wide applicability, the system has been deployed on 20 operating lines across three production workshops of a photovoltaic company, with a total operating distance exceeding 1000 meters, providing an efficient solution for the transfer of photovoltaic equipment and components.

Customized Modular Design

The system adopts a high strength box-girder frame structure, combined with insulated wheels and self-driven roller/chain conveyor modules, easily carrying aluminum alloy profile workpieces with frames.
The electric transfer cart design covers both roller conveyor and chain conveyor modes, providing four cart types in single-station and three-station configurations to meet the automated docking and transfer needs of photovoltaic module frames of different specifications, realizing the entire material flow from production to warehousing.

Intelligent Control and High-Precision Operation

Relying on an automated PLC control system, the electric transfer cart can automatically decelerate and stop upon arrival. Employing encoder and photoelectric dual positioning technology, the positioning accuracy reaches ±1mm, ensuring zero error in workpiece docking. Equipped with both wireless remote control and wired handle dual operation modes, combined with a laser sensor device and safety contact edges, a comprehensive safety protection system is constructed. Audible and visual warning lights provide real-time status updates, ensuring safe human-machine collaboration in the workshop.

Wide Applicability

This electric transfer cart system innovatively adopts low voltage railway power supply technology, completely eliminating the limitations of traditional rail laying and achieving unrestricted operating distance.
Carbon brushes and conductive columns, along with a ground control cabinet, ensure stable power supply. Currently, 20 lines are flexibly deployed according to workshop needs, combining long and short lines, with each line completing over 30 transfer tasks daily.
