This is a custom-built electric-driven transfer cart, which is generally divided into two layers. The upper layer is a turntable bracket that can rotate 360 degrees. An audible and visual alarm light is installed at the recess. Meanwhile, there are two square steel tubes under the bracket, which facilitate loading and unloading tasks by forklifts, etc. The lower layer is an electric-driven transfer cart, and an audible and visual alarm light is also installed under the platform surface. These alarm lights can alert the staff to avoid by emitting sounds when the transfer cart is in operation.

Structure of the Transfer Cart:
As a handling tool operating in the production workshop, this trackless transfer cart has a relatively complex structure.
Wheel System
The transfer cart is equipped with a dual-wheel system. The middle universal wheel can work independently and rotate 360 degrees through hydraulic lifting. The outer polyurethane wheels, as a kind of steering-rudder-like structure, have a turntable installed on top that can rotate 90 degrees for longitudinal and lateral movement. Both the internal universal wheel system and the outer steering-rudder-like wheel system are made of high-elasticity polyurethane wheels, which are not likely to cause scratches when traveling on flat and hard ground.
Load-bearing Bracket
The bracket is in an inward-concave arc shape, which can carry cylindrical work pieces and ensure the stability of the workpieces during operation. At the same time, both the upper turntable bracket and the lower transfer cart are equipped with lifting rings, which can accommodate various handling forms.
Safety Protection System
The transfer cart is divided into two layers as a whole. In order to ensure the safety of employees and facilitate them to monitor the operation of the upper bracket, steps and guardrails are added. To facilitate the handling of the upper bracket, the guardrails are concentrated at the four corners, leaving the middle part unobstructed.
This transfer cart is mainly used for handling workpieces in the production workshop.

Application in the Automobile Engine Production Workshop:
After the engine cylinder block is processed in the automobile engine production workshop, it needs to be transferred from the processing area to the assembly area. At this time, this transfer cart plays an important role.
Preparation Stage
The operator first checks whether the power supply of the transfer cart is sufficient and whether the audible and visual alarm lights and other safety devices are in normal condition. After confirming that everything is okay, the transfer cart is started, and the audible and visual alarm light under the platform surface of the lower layer of the transfer cart emits flashing lights and warning sounds to remind other staff in the workshop to avoid.
Loading Stage
The transfer cart travels to the storage area of the engine cylinder block. The operator climbs onto the transfer cart and uses the upper turntable bracket that can rotate 360 degrees to align with the cylinder block. Since the bracket is in an inward-concave arc shape, it fits the cylindrical engine cylinder block and can stably carry it. The forklift uses the square steel tubes under the bracket to smoothly place the engine cylinder block into the recess of the bracket.
Transportation Stage
The operator returns to the ground and controls the transfer cart to move forward. The dual-wheel system of the transfer cart comes into play. The middle universal wheel rotates 360 degrees through hydraulic lifting to work independently, and the turntable on top of the outer polyurethane wheels (with a steering-rudder-like structure) rotates 90 degrees, enabling flexible longitudinal and lateral movement. The transfer cart can easily move through the narrow passages in the workshop. When turning or approaching other equipment or personnel, the audible and visual alarm lights continuously emit warning signals.
Unloading Stage
The transfer cart arrives at the assembly area of the engine cylinder block. The operator climbs onto the transfer cart again and rotates the upper turntable bracket to an appropriate angle to facilitate the forklift to lift the cylinder block through the lifting rings of the bracket. The forklift unloads the cylinder block from the bracket, completing the transfer task. Subsequently, the transfer cart can continue to perform the next transfer task.
