Maintenance And Use Of Battery Power Transfer Carts

Battery power transfer cart is a kind of rail handling tool in plant. It is applied to transport heavy duty cargo from one bay to another along fixed path. The battery power transfer carts can be used to transport coils, molds, steel pipes and other material in the workshop. The batteries are installed in the transfer carts. The batteries supply electricity to the DC motor through the electrical control system.

1. The surface, connecting wire and bolt of transfer cart battery shall be kept clean and dry. If there is acid solution, cotton yarn should be dipped in alkali solution to wipe off, and then rinse with water and dry. During the cleaning process, alkali solution is absolutely not allowed to enter the battery.

2. The battery connection of electric flat cart must be kept in good contact, so as not to cause spark to burn out the pole pole or explosion of the battery.

3. The battery electric transfer cart should avoid overcharge, over discharge, strong charging and insufficient charging, otherwise the battery life will be shortened.

4. No harmful substances are allowed to fall into the battery of transfer carts. The instruments and appliances used to measure the density, temperature and liquid level of electrolyte should be kept clean to avoid bringing impurities into the battery.

5. Do not place any conductive articles on the battery cover to avoid short circuit of the battery.

6. The battery electric flat car shall be charged in time after discharging, and the longest interval time shall not exceed 24 hours.

7 battery electric transfer cart in use, if there is a backward battery, should be found out in time, repair immediately, if unable to repair, should be replaced with a new battery.

8. The temperature of water and sulfuric acid solution injected into the battery should be between 10 ~ 35 ℃, not too high or too low.

No fireworks are allowed in the charging room to avoid hydrogen explosion. There should be good ventilation facilities in the charging room, and the room temperature should not be lower than 15 ℃.

In the use of 16 ton battery power transfer cart, the voltage, density and capacity are often unbalanced. In order to make the battery in use to achieve a balanced and consistent good state, the battery should be balanced charge once a month. In case of any of the following conditions, equalizing charging shall be carried out.

a) The discharge voltage often drops below the termination voltage;

b) When the discharge current value is often too large;

c) Those who do not charge in time after discharge;

d) When the electrolyte is mixed with impurities with little harm;

e) Frequently under charged or not used for a long time;

f) After taking out the pole group to check or remove the sediment.
