Product Brief

The hot metal ladle transfer car is an electric operated material handling transfer car which is designed for high temperature ladle transport in the steel mill. Both the start and stop of the ladle transfer car should be slowly to prevent the molten steel and slag running out of the ladle. The heat insulating material is used in the torpedo ladle car to resist the high temperature. Usually two motor are prepared, when one is damaged by the ladle's high temperature, the other can be used to continue the work.

As the ladle transfer cars are equipped with steel wheels and move on steel rails they are suited to very high loading capacities thanks to the very low friction between steel and steel. The capacity load can up to 500 tons.
