In modern heavy duty manufacturing workshops, the efficiency of material and workpiece transfer directly determines the production pace. Taking a large domestic equipment manufacturing enterprise as an example, its core pain points lie in the fact that traditional overhead cranes and rail guided transfer vehicles are limited to fixed routes, unable to flexibly serve increasingly complex cross-area, multi-station transfer needs.

Solution
Based on the customer’s production requirements, we designed and manufactured this 12 tons battery powered trackless transfer cart. The core of the cart adopts a high strength cast steel welded frame, ensuring the overall structure remains rock-solid under heavy loads. To meet the customer’s need for transporting large precision castings, we specially customized a dedicated platform with positioning slots, enabling quick and damage-free positioning and transfer of workpieces.

Unrestricted Mobility: The cart abandons traditional tracks and is equipped with batteries and portable charging pile, achieving “unlimited operating range” for continuous operation.
Intelligent Control: Operators can effortlessly control the cart’s forward/reverse movement, steering, and lifting via wireless remote control from a safe distance. Polyurethane wheels provide exceptional load-bearing capacity while ensuring smooth, quiet operation and protecting floor surfaces.

Comprehensive Protection: The transfer cart integrates multiple active safety barriers. Audible and visual warning lights provide advance alerts; safety bumpers trigger buffering or immediate stops upon encountering obstacles; in emergencies, a one-touch emergency stop button instantly cuts off power. The driver monitors real-time energy status through the battery level display, eliminating the risk of sudden power depletion.

Application
The transfer cart operates without tracks and freely moves between workstations via wireless remote control. The customized platform precisely accommodates large castings. The high strength cast steel frame and polyurethane wheels ensure smooth operation under 12 tons heavy loads while protecting the ground. This has increased the cross-workshop transfer efficiency of large workpieces by approximately 40%. The flexible customized design and wireless remote control also make it highly adaptable to narrow spaces and complex routes.
