50 Tons Trackless Transfer Cart Facilitates Large Mold Transportation
Production Challenges
In traditional heavy manufacturing workshops, the cross-process transport of large molds, heavy workpieces, and raw materials often relies excessively on overhead cranes or rail-mounted transfer carts. However, overhead cranes have blind spots and limited coverage, while rail-mounted transfer carts, due to their fixed tracks, easily disrupt workshop floor space, resulting in rigid production lines and failing to meet the flexible and efficient scheduling demands of modern workshops.

Solution
Based on the customer's needs and application scenarios, we designed this 4500×2580×900mm 50 tons battery powered trackless transfer cart. The cart features a robust box-beam type flat platform frame and a dual-wheel system, enabling true bidirectional movement and extremely flexible operation. The cart integrates both wireless remote control and wired handle control modes, and is equipped with a lit display screen for intuitive status feedback.
The transfer cart is equipped with a laser sensor device and omnidirectional collision avoidance safety sensors. All emergency stop and automatic stop sensors are linked to a reset button. After any alarm is triggered, manual pressing of the reset button is required for restarting.

Applications
This 50 tons trackless transfer cart is primarily responsible for transferring large molds and core workpieces within the production workshop. The cart can move freely within a maximum operating distance of 120 meters without damaging the ground tracks. Even in narrow passageways, the dual-wheel system allows the 50 tons behemoth to easily complete lateral movement or turning on the spot, perfectly overcoming space limitations.
