Production Challenges

A heavy machinery production workshop routinely transports large workpieces and heavy materials. Traditional handling equipment suffers from insufficient load capacity, limited operating distance and time, and cannot meet the workshop's long-line, uninterrupted transport needs.

Solution

Based on the customer's needs and actual application scenario, we designed and manufactured this 60 tons low voltage railway powered rail transfer cart. The track is laid along the workshop's main logistics channel. The cart draws power from the track via carbon brushes and conductive posts, achieving "on-demand, no distance or time limitations."
The rail transfer cart body uses a box-beam frame with a flat platform for even load distribution. Insulated wheels ensure low-voltage system stability, and it integrates both wireless remote control and wired handle dual-mode control. For safety, in addition to emergency stop and audible and visual warning lights, safety touch edges and a laser sensor device are added for emergency stopping upon encountering obstacles.

Applications

This 60 tons rail transfer cart is currently in use on the core backbone production line of the customer's workshop. It shuttles between the processing area, assembly area, and finished product storage area, primarily responsible for the smooth transfer of heavy workpieces, large molds, and raw materials. The rail-based operation mode ensures transportation stability, enabling smooth operation and precise stopping in high-frequency production environments, improving overall logistics efficiency.
