Production Challenges

In automotive mold manufacturing and repair workshops, the frequent handling of molds is a critical link in the production chain. This client previously relied heavily on traditional rail mounted transfer carts, but with production line expansion and process upgrades, the limitations of fixed tracks became increasingly apparent: they not only occupied workshop floor space but also had rigid operating routes, hindering flexible scheduling across areas and workstations.

Solution

To address the client's upgrade needs, we custom-developed this 20 tons battery powered trackless transfer cart. This solution completely eliminates the constraints of tracks, using polyurethane-coated wheels that allow direct travel on hardened surfaces and 360 degrees free turning. The transfer cart is battery powered and equipped with a portable smart charger, ensuring continuous and environmentally friendly power. For safety, it integrates a laser sensor and an audible and visual warning system, creating multiple safety barriers in densely populated workshop environments, in conjunction with an emergency stop button.

This trackless transfer cart is specifically designed for handling automotive molds in workshops. The flat platform can stably place various sizes of automotive molds, preventing slippage and collisions during transport. The wear resistant and shock-absorbing polyurethane wheels are compatible with workshop floors, ensuring smooth and bump-free operation. A laser sensor monitors the surrounding environment in real time, and the dual protection of audible and visual warning lights and an emergency stop button prevents accidents. A portable charger allows for on-the-go recharging, ensuring continuous operation around the clock without worrying about battery life. It perfectly adapts to multi-station, high frequency mold handling scenarios in workshops.
