3 Tons Cable Drive Transfer Cart with Roller Table for Mold Handling

Production Challenge
In a large copper processing workshop, there was a frequent need to transfer copper wire reels weighing up to 3 tons between the drawing line and the annealing line.
Traditional forklift handling faced issues such as inaccurate positioning, susceptibility to scratching the reels, equipment malfunctions in high temperature environments, and exhaust pollution from diesel powered units. These problems severely constrained production efficiency and workshop environmental conditions.

Solution
To address the customer’s operational requirements and application constraints, we designed and manufactured a cable reel power rail transfer cart.
The transfer cart is equipped with a customized roller tabletop to secure reel-type materials and prevent slippage. The cable reel power supply system enables continuous operation without time limitations, while cast steel wheels offer wear resistance and high temperature endurance.
Additional safety features include a laser dead man stop system and a three colors warning light. Wireless remote control enhances operational   convenience.

Application
After deployment, the cart operates along rails in the workshop, enabling point-to-point transfer of reel workpieces among three core production lines. Operators can complete the entire process of picking up, transferring, and unloading workpieces via wireless remote control without the need for close-range manual intervention.
During transfer, the three colors audible and visual warning light provides real-time alerts to surrounding personnel. The laser dead man stop device automatically halts operation in case of abnormalities, ensuring the safety of both personnel and equipment.
The equipment continues to operate flawlessly in high temperature environments, and the cable guide ensures precise cable winding without tangling or wear issues.
