Low height 8.5 Tons Material Handling Transfer Carts for Workshop
Production Challenge
A large heavy machinery manufacturing enterprise frequently needed to transfer heavy structural components weighing around 8 tons within its welding workshop. The original operation relied on the coordination of two forklifts, which not only required a large turning radius and struggled to navigate the narrow workstation aisles but also caused significant environmental pollution due to the exhaust emissions from the internal combustion forklifts in the enclosed workshop.
Solution
Based on the customer's actual usage requirements and specific application conditions, we designed and manufactured this 8.5 tons capacity material handling transfer cart powered by a safety sliding line.
This transfer cart features a box-beam frame structure, offering high load-bearing capacity and excellent torsion resistance. Its core highlight is the adoption of safety sliding line power supply technology, which completely eliminates the time limitations of battery life and the hassle of waiting for charges, achieving truly uninterrupted 24/7 continuous operation. Designed for workshops with low headroom, the cart features an ultra-low flat deck surface, ensuring easy loading and unloading even in areas with restricted lifting equipment.

Advantages
This material handling transfer cart integrates heavy load capacity, environmental friendliness, and high efficiency. The cast steel wheels are wear-resistant and high temperature resistant, capable of withstanding wear from heavy loads. Wireless remote control allows operators to stay away from the heavy load, providing a clear, unobstructed view and precise maneuvering. The clean electric drive completely eliminates exhaust pollution inside the workshop.
Application
Widely used in various production workshops and factory interiors, this cart is specifically designed for movement of heavy workpieces, large components, and production materials. Its low-profile design allows it to easily navigate operational areas with insufficient ceiling height and narrow aisles. The rail guided operation mode ensures stable movement, preventing material damage from collisions. With dual protection from audible and visual warnings and an emergency stop button, the entire operation is safe and controllable.
The material handling transfer cart overcomes the dual limitations of space and power supply, simplifies manual handling processes, reduces labor costs and accident rates, improves material flow efficiency, and adapts to various customized material handling needs.
