Usage Challenges
A production workshop faced a workpiece transfer problem. The workpiece was used in a high temperature processing area and required vertical movement. Due to the relatively large size of the workpiece and the relatively fixed layout of the production workshop, large-scale modifications were not feasible.
Solution
Based on the customer's usage requirements and actual application scenario, we designed and manufactured this trackless automated guided vehicle (AGV) with a maximum load capacity of 1 ton. The equipment is equipped with Mecanum wheels and a custom-designed bracket, and can be controlled via a wired handle and PLC control system, enabling flexible movement and precise docking.

Omnidirectional Movement: This automated guided vehicle AGV equipped with a Mecanum wheel system, it supports zero-radius turning and lateral movement, completely eliminating space limitations. No need to damage the ground for track laying, short deployment cycle.
Multi-Mode Control: Integrated touchscreen, wired handle, and wireless remote control ensure convenient and intuitive operation.
Intelligent Obstacle Avoidance: Equipped with a precision Laser Sensor, emergency stop button, and audible and visual warning lights to ensure safety for both humans and machines.
Customized Bracket: A customized bracket capable of lateral movement was designed to precisely move the workpiece vertically.

Application
In actual workshop operation, operators guide the vehicle to its designated position wirelessly, while laser sensors automatically identify surrounding obstacles. Once the automated guided vehicle reaches the designated workstation, the PLC control system activates the lateral movement bracket, fine-tuning the workpiece to the docking height. The entire process requires no manual handling.
By introducing this heavy duty automated guided vehicle AGV, the company has successfully upgraded its production logistics with intelligent technology. This highly adaptable and customized handling solution is gradually overcoming the challenges of heavy duty transportation in modern factories.
