Frequency scheduling of train carriages is a traditional pain point in large railway logistics hubs and heavy industrial manufacturing bases. A large rail equipment manufacturing company faced significant technical bottlenecks when undertaking short distance shunting and decoupling tasks involving 700 tons train sets within its factory premises: diesel-powered tractors caused severe exhaust pollution and incurred high maintenance costs; conventional battery powered tractors, limited by their range, required frequent charging, leading to intermittent operations.

Solution
To address the company's extreme heavy load and continuous operation needs, we custom-designed a 700 tons electric rail train tractor with dimensions of 3800x2500x2000mm. This tractor features a box-girder frame and a customized platform, equipped with high performance cast steel wheels, providing exceptional load-bearing capacity.
The electric rail train tractor utilizes a safety sliding line and a current collector-linked power supply system, drawing power directly from the sliding line. The control system integrates both wireless remote control and wired handle modes, and is equipped with audible and visual warning lights, an emergency stop button, and a custom-designed train-specific towing hook at key locations on the vehicle body, ensuring absolute safety during human-machine interaction.
